I am unable to make the run. Can I transfer to a new date?

We want to help our runners meet their fitness goals so yes, you can transfer to a date you can make. You can do so by looking at www.thebestraces.com for a date that you prefer. Please email your new date and city into info@thebestraces.com so we can add you to the transfers list so that you will receive the participant info email before the Wednesday of your new date.
I can’t make the run and bought insurance. How can I claim it?
As our priority to see you achieve your fitness goals, we would first like to transfer you to another run. Please look at www.thebestraces.com for a list of our upcoming runs and email your new date into info@thebestraces.com so we can add you to the transfers list so that you will receive the participant info email before the Wednesday of your new date. How do I reserve a wave?
Congratulations on signing up for your run! You can select a wave for morning runs by completing the form here: https://shorturl.at/LNvKX Please keep in mind that half marathoners are automatically in the first wave so there is no need to reserve your wave. For evening runners, we only have 1 wave time so there is no need to reserve.
Is walking allowed?
We welcome everyone to our event! We would love to have you 🙂 As our run is more casual, it is perfect for walkers and all fitness levels.
Are dogs allowed?
As our runs are more casual, we are able to accommodate dogs so long as they are on leash and it is OK with the park!
Can someone take my place?
Yes! Please submit the following form: https://forms.gle/xQ1DqPTmWzrADhxN9 and we’ll add that person’s name to run. You will need to forward them the participant info email as your email will still stay on file.
How can I volunteer?
We would love to have you volunteer at one of our runs! Please let us know which date and city you wish to volunteer for by emailing into info@thebestraces.com. We will then get you set up with our coordinators for that date.
I can’t locate my registration confirmation number. Where can I find it?
Your registration number can be found on your registration confirmation sent automatically by the site you registered with. This number can be used to either register for your wave or request a medal. If you still can’t locate it, please email info@thebestraces,com and we can assist you in finding it.
What happens if there is bad weather?
We run during the rain but in the case of severe weather, such as thunderstorms, we will reschedule. If our event is rescheduled, we will send out an email informing you of a new date. If you prefer to avoid the bad weather, you can opt to transfer. You can do so by looking at www.thebestraces.com for a date that you prefer. Please email your new date and city into info@thebestraces.com so we can add you to the transfers list so that you will receive the participant info email before the Wednesday of your new date.
It’s raining. Will the run happen?

What happens if I can’t make the new date of a run that was cancelled and rescheduled?
In the case that you can’t make the date to a rescheduled run, please look at www.thebestraces.com and select a date which works with your schedule. You can then email into info@thebestraces.com with your new date and city so as to be added onto the transfers list to receive the participant info email the Wednesday before the run.
How can I get my virtual running packet?
Please email into Info@thebestraces.com and we will get you set up with our virtual training packet. If you would like to receive a shirt and medal, make sure you register for a paid option at www.thebestraces.com
When do I have to complete my virtual run?
The greatest thing about running virtually is you can complete your run anytime anywhere. As such, there is flexibility as to when you complete your run.
What do I get with a paid virtual run?
With the paid virtual run, you get a t-shirt and medal. Please make sure to use your full mailing address when signing up for your run as our warehouse ships your shirts to the registered address. After you have completed your run, you may email into info@thebestraces.com for your medal.
When will my shirt arrive?
Your shirt will arrive the week before the run unless you signed up less than 2 weeks before the run. In this case, your shirt will arrive after the run. Don’t worry as your participation is not in jeopardy. You can run in any shirt you wish
When will the course map and more information about the run be provided?
Please keep an eye out for an email which will arrive by the Wednesday of the date of your scheduled run. If you do not get an email for some reason, please email us at info@thebestraces.com so we can further assist you.
Can I sign up last minute right before the run?
We welcome last minute registrations. Please find a list of our runs at our website www.thebestraces.com. If you can’t register as your run is closed, please email us at info@thebestraces.com. We can occasionally accommodate last minute runners.
Can I sign up in person?
We ask all participants to sign up online so that we can keep track of their shirts. We don’t do on site sign ups for that reason. You can find a list of our runs at our website www.thebestraces.com. If your run is full, please email us at info@thebestraces.com. We can occasionally accommodate last minute signups.
The run is closed, can I still sign up?
We can add you to the waitlist for the run. Please email into info@thebestraces.com and we will add you to the waitlist for a run. Simply provide the city and date of the run you wish to participate in.

What is included in my race signup?
You will get a shirt and a medal with your race signup unless you sign up for an eco-friendly version of the run. In that case, you will get a medal with your race signup.
Is there parking at the location?
We choose our run sites based on accessibility to parking which means there will be either on street parking or a parking lot nearby. Please zoom into the google map link provided on the participant info email which goes out the Wednesday before the run for a closer look at parking near the start line. Can I change my distance?

The run was cancelled due to bad weather. Can I get a refund?
If the run is cancelled due to weather, we reschedule the run to a different date. If you are unable to make the new date, we offer a credit to a future run which doesn’t expire. When should I show up to the run?
For race bibs, please simply show up 10-15 minutes ahead of your start time. Our coordinators will provide you with a race bib. If you want your time taken, please ask them and they’ll walk you through our easy process of noting your start and stop time.
